Not long after moving to the Southern Highlands, I was fortunate to have discovered Lake Alexandra in Mittagong and have spent a lot of time there since with the kids.
I love it for so many different reasons. The lovely lake is the centre piece, with a great walking/bike track around it, lots of great spots to set up a picnic, hundreds of gorgeous ducks, a well equiped playground for the kiddies and lots of parking.
Pick a nice sunny day and its perfect!!
I was amazed to find out it only became what it is now about six months before we moved down ……. and I am thankful they did!
